3 Poinsettia tips to the customer

When buying your poinsettia flowers, always avoid frost or having them in a cold car. If they are exposed to temp. below 10°C (50°F), the plant may drop its leafs. The optimal temp. for poinsettia are 14-22°C

Keep the soil moist and don’t let it dry out or keep water in the bottom of the pot. Since it can lead to leafs drop

Its advise to keep your poinsettia in a spot with 2-3 hours of natural sunlight. The poinsettia are not poisonous, but the flower and leafs are easily damage by strong air and movement. Optimal places are windowsills or on a Christmas tables.
